I'm focused on Gypsy Biker right now. I told Charlie the other night - this is going to be the BIUSA 2007 edition. It's got a friendly hook and sounds good but the message is going to be missed.
Gypsy Biker went away without his bike. Went to war. And now he's coming home but he ain't never riding that Bike again 'cause he's dead. Mull that one over for a while folks.

I keep going back to Girls in Their Summer Clothes. It is classic Springsteen storytelling. Cannot wait to hopefully hear it live!

yeah. the down on his luck guy watching the pretty young things pass him by. Classicly sad! Like seeing a person all alone eating an ice cream cone. That breaks my heart.

This album songs light and summer like but this here's a dark ride. There in lies ... MAGIC.

Well...I'll pick the obvious new FUN song of the live shows, and the title of this here Blog. I've been listening the Living the Future with an ear towards the dynamics that may be created live.

I could be worng on this, but I got a feeling that this tune is really gonna stretch out into a classic live show / audience in party mode romp.

There's that little shift in key right before Clarence takes his solo that I think will be built into a real dramatic tension and release point that will send us in to fits of ecstacy.

I'm looking forward to seeing if I'm right on this.

oh..and I've changed by login.

Blog title was the first one to grab me right outta the box. I totally agree with rr, going to be a classic live. But MAGIC, if you're not careful you could fall right down into the depths of it

but as said above about the "Dark Ride" - it'll be intereting how Livin carries out live..'cause musically it's a romp, but lyrically it's not

I think the tume Magic will be a great live vehicle as well...
