If you didn't see it he did the political rap before Livin in the Future and I'm pretty sure he got boo'd. 1. Surprised he did that song 2. Not surprised he did the rap.
Oh, and one other thing: Long Walk Home is already my favorite live song of the Magic material. I will look forward to hearing it at every Bruce show I see this year.
From one of my pals that lives in NYC and is very connected: The head of Security at Rockefeller Center is a former PBA union exec who I later worked with at Labor Relations. Through him I was able to secure a good spot at the Bruce warm-up today at Rockefeller Center -place was packed.I actually got in to the NBC studios - saw them sitting around - they did a warm up around 8am - and then took a break for the 8:30 songs. I was way over left of stage standing around with some cops. Tough duty
My face can be seen at the end of "Promised Land." The back of my head can be seen at other various junctions of the show. Thought the back of my head was my better side.
I best take another trip to my optician dude cause i cant see you anywhere ?? although that figures cause the last time i went to my optician you would never guess who i bumped into ??? .... fecking everybody !!!! and my mother told me guinness was good for my eyesight ?!!!!
As it turns out, my debut on early morning telly-vision did not make it into the clips that are posted on the NBC website. BOOOO!!!! But I do have the Tivo'd version of the entire program, and I tell ya, I made that show look good.

Just to clarify, that was Bruce doing the political rap, not me. Heh.
I didn't hear the boos though. Then again, I was towards the back.

Loved the comment about Tim Russert's haircut...all in all a great show on Today. Worth delaying taking my painkillers this morning.
