Why are you asking? He's actually quite funny, and happens to live in our town(Montclair).
just dont like his attitude to someone 'being ' patriotic to his country by trying to open not only America's eyes to what is happening in Iraq and further afield but also opening up our europeans eyes too , to what that other dickhead george bush is doing !!

Mick, I think you might be misconstruing what Colbert said. He's playing a character that's based on right-wing misinformation talk show hosts like Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity. He's actually very lefty, and is a big fan of Bruce. The point of his show is to actually poke run/ridicule the type of character that he in fact is playing. The comments that he made on his show about Bruce were all part of an act.
