Bruce had to ride the lame NJ crowd by telling them it was louder in Philly! HA.
If you look at the official set list on BruceSpringsteen.net you can see the show that we were supposed to get last night. Some technical problems prevented it from happening exactly as planned. So...that can only mean we are in for a killer show tonight!
On with it!
We had RIBS!

I think it'll be like that for a while . The band took a long time ot hit their stride on The Rising tour.
The last few ties I saw a show in NJ, I was shocked at how lame the crowd had become. Jaded or just too many fools who know BTR and that's it?
that should be "times", not "ties"
Oh, and how were the ribs?
Do they have a giant alligator on the side of the building now?
there were 4 fools in front of me last night. 4 women and no offense to them but they were out for a night away from their husbands and kids. All 4 of them were seated for Thundercrack and not even paying attention to the stage-they were too busy showing each other their cell phones! UGH. Very annoying!
The signs inside still said CAA so I'm not sure when the official cut over happens. I thought it did already.
We got pictures of ribs! Check back later for some photos.
Well you know how us moms are with our cell phones : )
My sister had a great time, though she thought the crowd was lame. She was in section 208 and said most only stood when he did BTR.
ah, such a tease. we're going to get the ones we missed tonight, right? promise!?
What, did you erect your own Big Top in the parking lot?
it was a little drizzly so we had two canopies set up side by side. the kitchen and the sitting room! a little rain can't slow us down!
Look here people , you just cant beat us europeans when it comes to noise and making lots of it too !!
in fact you JUST CANT beat us europeans ..... :) how deep should i dig this grave then ??? !! ha ha
It's time to beat some Europeans? What did they do?
My cousin Andy said the section he was sitting in was basically seated throughout. Then he called them some nasty names.
As for the ribs, since I was the Chef, I must admit that the ribs........weren't very good. The rub used was WAY too salty. They were cooked to perfection, but not seasoned well at all. I've learned my lesson for next summer.
