It's like a freight train

Ha, I love that! This is how Bruce describes their current, fast paced show. See the interview from Copenhagen HERE

That's a terrifically candid interview

Did anyone see him on Tom Brokaw's 1968 last night?

I meant to TIVO but forgot. I think it is being repeated. Is it worth it?

yes, Bruce is only on for a little bit but the show itself is very well done.

I was too young to remember how bad that year was so it was interesting to see how things unfolded and the impact some of it still has today.

Me too, Glynis. In fact, I was barely a thought in my parents mind in 1968. :-)

I wish that was the case for me! As my upcoming birthday reminds me.

Trivia Re: 1968. Bruce talks about failing his draft physical. Why did he fail it?

Janine said...

failed his physical because of a leg injury he suffered in a motorcycle accident

google is my friend!

i caught a tiny bit of 1968, the show not the year, missed that entirely. i did happen to catch a wee bit of Bruce talking about his opposition to Vietnam and how he came to that stance. was that the extent of the bruceness?

He talked a bit about the race riots too.
